Touch of the Master's Hand Ministries

Robert and Becky have spent their lives working for Jesus Christ and raising their family.

In 1982, during a Sunday night service at Rheinland Baptist Church, a church serving the US military in the Kaiserslautern Germany area, Robert heard the song Touch of the Master's Hand performed as a special music selection.  Timidly, Robert asked the singer if he would make a copy of the background track for him.  The singer relented, and for two years, Robert treasured that cassette tape, and, when Robert's family moved back to the states, in San Antonio, would sing along with that tape while mowing the family's two acres.

One day, when Robert was mowing and singing along, Robert's father snuck up behind him and followed him, listening to him singing.  Later that day, Robert's father strongly encouraged him to sing in front of the church.  A nervous Robert finally mustered the courage to demo the song to his music teacher, Robin Davenport, during lessons on Wednesday afternoon.  That evening, at Town East Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas, Robert sang in front of the Wednesday evening crowd.  The rest, as they say, is history.  Several years later, Becky's mother heard Robert sing that song during a Sunday evening service, and mentioned to Robert's mother that she had a dream that Robert would date her daughter.  After finding out about this, Robert slyly informed Becky's mother that he was going to make her dream come true.  In 1992, Robert and Becky married in a service officiated by both of their fathers.

That first presentation of Touch of the Master's Hand was in 1984.  Now, after 25 years of ministry in various roles, including youth and children's ministry, evangelism, church back office, and, of course, special music, Robert and Becky have launched Touch of the Master's Hand Ministries, and, drawing on their ministry experiences and abilities, offer their services for all churches and gospel-presenting organziations.

Touch of the Master's Hand ministries released their first album, "Don't Let Me Miss the Glory", on December 4th, 2009.  Please let us know if you'd like to order the album.  Total cost is $13, which includes shipping and handling.
